don't have the amp kits yet, my installer said that I needed to buy RCA cables individually
he said to buy the dual amp kit + 3 5 feet long RCA cables individually

I was looking at these two h/u's. but it sucks that best buy doesn't have a good selection of good head units.

I'm leaning more on the Kenwood atm. but the alpine has 4v out... and idk if that would make a major difference in sound.

but if we do have the Kenwood KIV (the one I posted a picture of) in store then I'm going to get that... it's way too sexy not to buy haha

since you are doing amplified mids/highs i'd say highest voltage outs you can get just to make sure distortion doesn't mess up your stuff. its more of a precaution than a necessity however.

also i'm not sure why he told you that unless he has something against the rcas that come with the kit.

What exactly is distortion? is that when the sound is choppy/laggy
so what should I be looking for in a head unit, if not for voltage outs? you think that Kenwood is good though cuz my friend said we have 1 of the bluetooth audio one and 2 of the bluetooth call audio one left at the store. So I think I'm gonna pick up the cheapest one since I'm never gonna use the bluetooth audio. wiring > wireless for audio

only two things I'm missing now are the remote bass control & the sub. They're both "out of stock" on kicker so they said I could still order it, but it'll take a while longer while they rejuvenate their inventory.
