110 rms is a bit much for 20 gauge . I mean I've pushed 1500 to subs with 16 gauge before but that was temporary. And if uoure hooking them up to an amp the stock wiring is useless. Going to have to wire the speaker to the amp anyway for all of the speakers

idk what the factory wire gauge actually is

2013 hyundai elantra coupe. ive tried looking for it all over online, or for ways i can find out, besides opening panel and measuring wires or something...

it might even be 22 AWG. i fkin hope not... but i wouldnt be surprised lawl

so assuming its 20 or 22 AWG

from what ive heard, its extremely difficult to replace factory speaker wires in newer cars, such as mine. and its a bit risky. one local shop gave me a quote of $75 for both front doors, seems like an okay price. but not sure if its worth the risk of them messing up, or worth the cost?
best buy auto tech said they would probably charge around $150 to $175 for both front speakers to be rewired.

do you think id really loose much sound quality keeping my factory speaker wires? i hope not.....

and i was told to use this adapter to allow me to use factory wires, without having to rewire them
