It may be beneficial to your shop..however customers dont want things done poorly especially when you spend 750 bucks there on speakers ...deck etc

B) true story

here it costs 120-130$ an hour for having something installed by shop but than they have done it properly.
mostly done in newer cars :P

So basically your shop charges double what mine does for shrink tubing and solder connections? Nice... Sounds worth it.

The funny part is you all make it sound like because we dont do this we dont do anything right... Actually aside from shrink and solder we do everything standard with some pizass we never skimp or cut corners. Took me an hour to fish a wire 1 day just because I didnt like the other spots I could run it because it wouldnt look as good.

AS far as newer cars go whats your point? In the last 2 weeks we havnt touched a car worth under $30,000.

We actually give discounts when you shop and install with us bulk package deals... and how are things done poorly? my shop does 110% work I will link a few pictures of installs weve done in the last 4 days if you wish. Today we sold a Type R 12 in ported box for $150 when even online they cost more and even tuned and put the box in his trunk free.

Do you wanna spend $120 an hour for solder/shrink wrap when it makes no difference? you wont see it, you wont notice a difference and it will last as long if not longer. So who cares?

I dont get how my shop is bad? to normal standards its one of the best shops ive been to or heard of, but ill upload some pics to show you guys our work is top notch, unlike some of you people claiming to be installers talk is cheap i wanna see some of your work. Working at Bestbuy doesnt count.

almost everyone takes newer cars to a shop for installs... I wouldnt because I can do it myself but who would take their old piece of shit car to have a system installed that would be worth twice as much as the car... cmon get real

W7-13 behind the third row of an Escalade. The enclosure has a hole in the back with fiberglass over it because that's the ONLY way that sub will fit in that truck behind the third row..

Seems to me like the way you install is similiar and the equipment isnt as good, you also dont have as clean looking equipment/installs and it looks like the cars I work on cost more. No trying to be a dick but you started talking shit to me over soldering a harness and you come back with setups that look worse than mine for twice the install cost? Come on man... Think before you speak.

Also the box has no real finish, no flush baffle and you can see gaps on the front baffle. Also edges need to be rounded better not picking apart your work but if you want to compare fabrication you guys have a lot fo work to do.

Okay now you are being a dick. I do as good of work as people in my area are willing to pay for. Most people in my area are just Joe and Jane driving plain ass cars.
We've got an Audio S5 in the shop right now for a $2000 radar detector and I work on 2013 cars all the time! Mostly just for tint because new cars come with a 'good enough' system for most people.

That box has a face wrapped in suede and the baffle is wrapped in vinyl, how is that not a real finish?. It's exactly what the customer wanted!

It's not gloating lol it's proving my point see it how you want... and mr talks shit but never competed in his life I dont know who hellish orc or Avoid is but I know I've won nearly 10 trophies first place with over 5 people in my class each time. I can show you if you would like? But nothing really to prove to you though since you've never competed and have no system oh the irony.

Let's see proof of you breaking a 140 lol I bet there is none why talk shit about people when you have nothing, no spl numbers no nothing you're just a random lol a random hater. I <3 Haters though ;)

But anyways its like me saying someone is slow and a ricer yet I drive a mini-van it just doesnt work o.O I think someones mad that I can get louder and install better ^_^
