Avoid I can't play CD's after a curtain volume they skip unless I keep my doors open and even then they still skip most the time and I have my HU reinforced... and NO ipod doesn't affect low end or anything for that matter it's just bit quality and how lossless the tracks are that does. I use .mp3 but I use the highest form of conversion there is and tbh my ipod is louder than my CD's. also doesn't effect TL numbers a TON of heavy hitters use IPODs and for most of us it's the only way and I'll be damned if I'm going to use .WAV for the same sound and lose half my space on my ipod. Personally it makes VERY LITTLE difference to ear and on the sensors... The CD/IPOD thing is a myth, while I agree CD's ultimatly are better it's just not a viable option for louder systems and not a big difference or as big of one as everyone makes like I said my ipods songs are louder than CD's.Run a podium bruh!~

And yes, iPods do lower quality of music. Trust me, get a quality dB meter, play a song off an iPod, then play the same song as a .wav format.
Its not a myth, all the heavy hitters use podiums. I'm talking 160+, not the backyard systems you see here in Maine. I'm talking IASCA finalists.
