Oh okay never seen a kenwood amp with yellow covers lol. Didn't know if it was a certain model.

All of my Stereos have been kenwood, I just don't like their amps AT ALL, Rockfords amps are good. I go with Hifonics all the way. Used to be skeptical with them, now I choose none other than. :P

Only products I like from Kenwood are the decks as well. The only time I'll sell any other Kenwood product is if the customer insists.

The first amp I got was a HiFonics Brutus, "lightly used" from a friend. It was in really good shape and everything, but 3 days after I got it it went into protect mode and wouldn't come out.
I understand that it was a used amp, but I trust the guy that I got it from and he was the only one who used it. I did some research and it seems that this is a common problem with them.

tl;dr I'll never buy a HiFonics amp again.

i dont know much about the newer hiphonics.. but the old skool shit series 7 and series 8 were the best in my opinion
i still have 2 series 8 zues amps, 3 series 8 isis amps, 1 series 7 colussus amp all still in working order, and these were
beasts..... also have 2 mps-2500 phoenix gold amps that work still also....

I've heard the quality has gone down hill quite a bit. I know guys that swear by the older models but won't touch the new.
