how in the world would you go buy 12 gauge wire for a amp that needs 4 gauge wires, i really laugh seeing novice people talk about things like a BOX being more important than the amp powering the subs IN the box

if you don't have a additional seperate battery for your system, then youre definately not running equipment worth money

you really have no idea how electric works do you? the battery holds power it doesn't create power. so how exactly does more batteries without any regard for the alternator help things? they'll just go dead.

Battery number 2 obviously has the power wire bridged to the battery in the engine..... taking the strain off your main battery and repowering your other battery... i guess your too smart to think of this


its scarry to ask about your personal life because i doubt youve ever built something thats quality... sometimes people think they have something good when its just plain trash.....


if you buy a real battery, yeah it might die in 2months, go charge it, whats hard about that? youd rather burn your main car battery and have issues with your car instead of milk the power out of a 2nd battery?

u buy the proper guage wires ACCORDING TO YOUR AMP
buy the proper cap according to your amp
buy speakers that will be fully powered by your amp

9/10 people get the subs first, then look at the power ratings of them, and look for an amp that will give them maximum performance. Now for wires, it all matters on the amp, to an extent. 4G is fine, only time you should be using 0/1 is if you plan on entering competitions.

you buy the amp based on the speaker.

They buy the speakers/sub, then buy the best amp possible for them that fits in their budget.
Bigger the amp the better.
