chances are your stock one won't play nice with subs and have crappy audio controls.

one last thing. 6x8s look like a crapshoot. probably look at 5.25s(5 1/2s) with adapter plates for the 6x8 hole.

6x8's sound pretty bad tbh, ive heard many and i have a pair, the sound is "hollow" not enough companys make decent 6x8's... Get some nice component, infact you should look into the audioque components ive only heard great things about them. You would have to fab adapters to make them fit but these are phenomenal speakers.
