I tried to help and Subwoofer corrected me could have ended there. instead he has to add more ONCE I messed up theres 2 types of HO's DVC and SVC unfortunatly the DVC aren't in his price range so what the fuck ever.... hard to think straight when you're being barraged daily by morons.

Avoid and You have both given wrong information as well in other threads and nobody was here to point it out with knowledge so I guess we can all be wrong and stubborn.

Avoid promoted JL like it's the best brand on the market and whenever I counter-provide a setup he gets angry. I'm sorry but theres other things than Alpine, JL and Kicker to recommend and I havn't seen any real good recommendations. I've just been tired and have a lot on my mind lately so I guess I'm not in the best state to provide incredibly accurat einformation I've had to take this next 2 weeks off from work s oI can drive my mom to radiology treatment so it's been a tough week sorry if I've offended anyone.

Well, here's a complete third party opinion. I have basic/intermediate knowledge of car audio, and have done a few installs. By no means am I any expert.

But I've noticed you seem to brag a bit and in your haste to offer guidance and snappy attitude it can sometimes come off like you're trying to make everyone here think you're the elite car audio enthusiast on the forum.

This would be gravy if, in fact, you were, but by embellishing db levels which you apparently did not achieve and giving bad advice, coupled with the fact that when people correct your bad advice you rage like the patriots fans did after eli beat them again, you kinda seem like a douche.

Not meant to be insulting, just giving you my opinion, just maybe tone it back a little and everyone can coexist.

Not it at all... Listen I run a Sony 4 channel, Pioneer mids and low end DC equipment I'm far from elite know everything... It's infact the exact opposite when I post my build I'm getting barraged by "Get rid of the Sony." "Run WAV's you noob, mp3's suck." "your Pioneers blow and your system has shitty SQ." blah blah blah yeah I'm going to rip you a new asshole lol. and I've offered suggestions on setups based off experience and what I know. If you don't like my suggested setup back it up with proof and information don't just say "oh those suck." I've proven you guys wrong a few times as have you proven me wrong. The whole argument started because Avoid felt he needed to call my Sony junk and say that me running an Ipod makes me lose DB's and low end when it infact does not. Listen 90% of the world uses ipods for their systems, i've never seen anyone run wav's in a daily beater. I explaine dwhy I wasnt running WAV's or CD's and they continued to argue with me for like 6 pages. I just don't understand why ALL the hate.

You can think what you want man, I don't just join forums to talk shit and act like an elitist lol I join them to converse and help people out just so happens people have a lot of shit to talk but none to back it up. Also can you show me ONCE where I made a false claim of my DB levels? because I've provided proof of my 144+ and that's what I claimed... I'm confused where you would get that assumption. Also I would like to know where I've given bad advice apart from this once incident.

Easy slugger, I'm not looking anything up. From the few threads where you subwoofer avoid etc were arguing that was my observation.

I could honestly care less if you hit 144 or 150 or 132. My car currently hits 0 because I still cannot for the life of me figure out what the fuck is the problem with my setup. It was working fine in my old car, moved cars, no bump.

Well I'm just not sure how you gathered me as the antagonist in the situation... It started fine until people started taking jabs at my systems normally I wouldn't care but when it's kids running ATR's and crappy amplifiers telling me to switch things out and how to run my car it starts to become a little rediculous... I mean Avoid made a ton of claims that were false and bs and then started taking personal jabs I was just defending myself I'm a professional about most things IRL but on forums I can act a little wild I guess it's just cause I dont giv ea shit half the time lol.

Not to mention you can tell by Avoids childish attitude who was at fault seems as he was making threads about me and trolling my responses, it's just blatantly clear what that kids all about. Then when I school him multiple times he tries to act like my buddy.

and did you check your grounds? and fuses?

Yep, tried 3 different grounding locations all sanded with self tapping screws.
Fuses are good. Tried new speaker wire. Check connections from sub to box terminal, box terminal to amp.
Amp is getting power, is not in protect, is turned on in my head unit settings.

I'm wondering if somehow I blew the sub (not sure how I would have..) so I'm gonna grab my dmm when I go home tomorrow and see if I'm getting any resistance from my sub I guess.

good place to start man amplifier comes on and everything? try DMM'ing the outputs on the amplifier too.

Yup I have an mb quart dsc 1000.1 and the protect light is definitely unlit. I'll try that too. I'm tired of messing with it I just want it to work.
