I'm just suggesting batteries because alternators only do so much unless you spend $600+ on one and then $300+ on a battery and then another $50 to do a proper Big III that's $950 when you could have spend like $6-700 on batteries and a decent alternator and have more idle reserve.

I don't listen to my system at idle, and I have the stuff to do the big 3 right now, I just haven't done it yet. And there isn't anywhere I could possibly mount more than one battery.

Batt Rack under the truck bolted or in the bed with a Tanoe Cover or something... Take your AC hoses/wires out of the front of your truck and create a rack and get 3 smaller sized batteries like the XS D1200's.

The truck is going to be lowered 4 inches in the back, no room there.
I use the bed of this truck at least once a weak, can't go there.

Well that's the first start make sure it's as small as possible I think 10" Type R's like 1ft^3 each and tune for mids like 35hz so you don't bottom out and make sure your SSF is set correctly so you don't play below tuning.
Big III will also basically do exactly what a cap will do which is regulate power better. and if you get a good battery like an XS D1200/D3400 they actually have a built in capacitor.
Maybe my recommendation was a little overkill but I don't remember what amplifier you're running, that's the biggest factor.
