what hes saying is hes retarded. hes under some illusion you pick out the amp before you pick out the other pieces...which makes no sense because the subs you choose dictate everything else.

1. Stereo
2. Speakers
3. SUBS
4. Design the box properly
5. Amp

Can't by an amp and try and find subs that match it, I mean you can, but your half rawtawded if you try and do that...
