do u mean a combined power of 1200w rms? those subs are usually 500-600w rms



the amp outputs more power with a smaller ohmload sub. as long as you dont wire subs down to 1ohm (unless your amp is 1ohm stable) it wont have an effect on them, except for maybe being a little less efficient.

so if i dident wire em from 4 to 2 ohm they would only play 500 w rms out to the subs instead of 1000 at 2ohm ?
