you drive a truck though, right? Usually they're a bit leniant on trucks versus his jetta. That's just something I've heard.

Looks darker on trucks rofl. You cant see in my windows at any time of the day if they are all rolled up unless you put your face on the window

ive had 5% on the rear windows and 30% on the front for about 3 years now ive never had a problem with cops before. its light enough they can see so i dont think they bother with it. but its dark enogh to keep the light out at night.

btw is it just my ears or do subs get louder and louder the more you break into them? I feel like everyday my new subs are getting louder lmao... I think the suspension is loosening up or something?

idk it may be my hearing and not the subs getting louder haha.

also, my next project on this car is to replace the speakers.
this is what my front doors look like. http://i53.tinypic.com/55nskh.jpg
you guys think I should just replace the 6.5" and the tweeter or should I do the middle piece too? idk why my car has 3 door speakers O_o lol

hmmf.
it's all good man.
35 is better than stock :P

and I'm going to college in a week and I know the cops over there are gonna be much stricter.
what I should've done was I shouldve gotten 30's for front and 20's in the back + rear window.

yeah I definitely need some Dynamat. I can get them for cheap and I hear they're the best so imma go with them.
I cannot stand the rattling. it's driving me crazyy lol

u guys recommend dynamating my door too or just the trunk? I don't have my speakers in yet because imo the stock speakers are really powerful and sound great already. so I'll install those when I my OEM speakers blow.
I know for a fact I'm gonna seal some shit in my trunk and tighten my spare/jack/license plate + dynamat.

can't edit my post

but I can either get this "Dynamat - Xtreme 12" x 36" Door Dampening Sheets (4-Pack) - Aluminum/Black" for 35 bucks (normal is 70)
or get "Dynamat - Xtreme 18" x 32" Dampening Sheet - Aluminum/Black" for 15 bucks (normally it's 30)
so half price on them. Which one should I go with for my trunk? I'm thinking of the 15 dollar one since it's only the trunk and from the box picture it looks like the 70 dollar one is just for the doors.

I just roll my windows down at night and during the day I have them cracked so light comes in so it doesnt look dark

The $70 one is 12 sq feet. The other I'm pretty sure is only 4 sq feet. That should be the only difference is the price.

/e
The 4sq ft is one roll
The 12sq ft is 4x 3sq ft sheets. (or vise versa 3x 4sqft sheets)

yeah it's 4x 3sqft. and those are meant to be for the doors.
so on a normal car how much would I need? I just wanna do the trunk no need for doors n shit just yet. I wanna stop the rattling and keep the bass inside the car more
