might get:

2x 6x9's (back)
2x 4x6's (front)
12" sub
Dual 12" truck  box
amp wiring kit
(all speakers are fosgates)

for about $224

getting a mid sub so that later on i can get something better
still gotta get amp, just not from where im getting these

Been talking two like 4 different people, asking them what they think of this also

Yea but you need to think of the long run.

Why buy shit that you have to replace? Take it 1 step at a time.

Either get a nice 4 channel amp and amp your stock speakers, or get a nice amp/sub setup.

Theres no sense in buying shit that you'd end up replacing in the end, you'd be losing out on money in the long run.

What'd you have that cost over 1000?

Answere 1. Yes. Use two channels for the front speakers, and the other two channels for the back speakers. You don't need tweeters if you have 2 or 3-way speakers (the ones with tweeters built into them)
If you have component speakers then they should come with a little box that sends power to the tweeters from the mid-range speakers.. Like you see here: http://electronics.shop.eeebay.com/Car-Speakers-Speaker-Systems-/14936/i.html?Size=62E522&Brand=ClarionKenwoodKickerPioneerRockford20FosgateSoundstream&rt=nc&Type=Component20System&%5Fcatref=1&%5Fdmpt=Car%5FSpeakers&%5Ffln=1&%5Fssov=1&%5Ftrksid=p3286.c0.m282

Answere 2. I would recommend finding out what size your stock speakers are (VIA crutchfield or sonicelectronix) and put your 2 mids there. They are probably in the doors in your truck.
I'm really not sure about the tweeters thought, I would guess that you would want them mounted onto the big plastic bar that is on either side of your windshield, and have them facing you.
Tweeters NEED to face the listener, otherwise they are pretty much useless if they are, for example, mouted facing straight up.

Component speakers send power to tweeters? Or are you thinking about a crossover?
Almost all trucks are 6x9 speakers...
Yeah I think I'mma put them up there, Where would the mids go though

You said it was less about the budget...

1) Yup. Hell, if you wanted to, you could hook 2 channels to your front speakers, and 2 channels to subs.
2) Kickpanels in the front are always a good option. Stock spots in the back since you have 6x9's. Plus, in trucks, the front is way more important than the back.

No, I have a 500w RMS rockford amp for my sub.
And what do you mean, for the mids ?
