I was always told it's better to overpower then underpower?

For most, yeah I imagine it is. But for competition subs like the Orion HCCRs, Digital Designs or Zero Gravity, you can push so much more to them then what they're rated at.
I read somewhere they pushed 35,000 watts of power to one of the 15" HCCRs for two minutes before it stopped working! :O

single 12" in a box no wider then 9 (talking from the front to back, not from left to right)

Alpine type r 120 shipped and

I'd cl a working amp that's not completely shit.. For your budget.. Save up like 200 more bucks and that shot will take you further

little big more expensive wiring kit~31$
