well, its either get a better amp and cheaper subs
or get a mid sub and mid amp

id get something to where the ratings match, you don't need to over power or under power your subs, both are just as bad.

talking quality of the subs/amp

if im getting 1 or even 2 800 watts, im going to get a 1600 watt amp either way

im talking brand vs brand wise

Only thing i can think of that might be cheap enough is sony xplod but just two subs and an amp is going to be really close to $200 and what size box you have already?

quite small atm, but getting a much larger one from a friend, almost a full length back seat box (should of said also, these subs are going to go into a truck)
and i can get higher then a sony explode for under $200

i can get 1k watt amp, 2x polk audio max 540 watt subs, and a 1k watt wiring kit for under $200
or
pyle 1k watt sub x2, either a 1600 or 2k watt amp with either wiring kits
or
kenwood 1k watt sub x2, 2k watt amp and wiring kit

You have to know what size the holes in the box are before you can buy the subs...
