You get what you pay for. Soundqubed is a way better quality amp. For sure no doubt about it. And what i was saying is to get full potential out of your equipment you need good electric. Sure you can slap a 2k watt amp in a stock electrical and say your doing 2000 watts but in reality your no where near it. All your doing is stressing yoir equipment as well as yoir stock alt. I've owned used and built alot of systems. Started out with rookie shit buying whatever sounded good.. Just trying to get this kid to buy something decent from the start and save some money. I know audiopipe is decent for the money but for nit much more you can have a way better amp
I agree don't usually recommend people to cheap out on car audio but not everyone wants top notch equipment and to spend 100's on it some people just wanna bang for a cheap price and audiopipe fills the bill, SoundQubed has been garbage ever since they made changes and raised the price of their amps by nearly $100 but they are still decently priced. The Crescendo BC2000 does 2300RMS @ 13.8 so that amplifier will actually do close to 2k on stock electrical I know mine did when I clamped it on a 90a alt and a stock walmart battery. But if the guy wants to spend the premium I agree hes better off starting with good gear and not stressing his equipment. I honestly like stressing my equipment I like to see how big of a system I can fit with stock electrical and I like to see push my subs and amps I guess thats just me :-p

And what do you mean you doubt i ran type rs on a 2200? I wouldn't say it if it werent true.. I run a single 12 zcon on a bc3500 right now and my voltage never drops below 14 sub or amp never get hot. Full tilt.. And im about to run 2 12 dss ethos on the same amp untill my other bc3500 gets here then im gonna run 2
What I'm saying is I'm sure you did run two type r 12' son 2200 but I doubt you could have sat there for 30 minutes playing it all day long, I know because I built a box to spec and put a 800w Alpine MRP on it and the sub started to stink, I also used to sell tons of Type R's at the old shop I worked at and they didnt like anything over 800-1000w, so I dont see how it's possible that you ran 2200 to two of them daily with no problems but if you did kudos to you.
The ZCON is built a lot better than a Alpine TYPE R so you can feed it way more power than it's rated for, 2.5" coils cannot take more than 800-1000 watts with the cooling alpine uses, sundown subs are rated for 600 but can take 1500 all day. I ran 3000w to a single BTL n2 18" on stock electrical for awhile so lul.
