huh?

when you wire your 4 door speakers to the 4 channel amplifier it will leave your head units internal amplifier wires doing nothing. you simply hook the 2 4 inch speakers into a set of those wires and run them off the head unit amplifier while the others run off the 4 channel amps power.

oh I see. lol, you didn't use any commas so I read it all as a jumble of text, haha.
am I really going to need the distribution block?
also, should I get an optima red top rather than the yellow top? someone said the yellow's are more of a secondary battery.

red tops are made for starting only. if you overdraw the alternator you run into problems.

yellow tops can start and discharge and recharge easily which keep your electrical system steady.

SD-2 12D4 - Sundown 500 rms sub
mb quart 65 rms x 4 and a 500 rms fifth channel amp,
I would suggest focal or infinity for the smaller speakers its really better go listen before u buy and then order online. All a matter of taste.

Problem is, there's nothing local that has anything other than pioneer/alpine/Sony crap. So that doesn't help.
