Ported for sure, 32-34 is desired range of tuning frequency I'd suppose.



Sorry, trolling a bit. It does matter what box you have and how it is tuned and the cubic feet of the box. Let's say you have a kicker warhouse 10,000x1 hooked up to 4 t2 15''s but the box was small as fuck and had some shit ports. It would sound like someone deuced in the box. Now let's say you calculated everything and figured that each chamber would have to be 2.3 cubic feet and that the desired port length/diameter ( I use circle ports btw) would tune it at 31htz. Now we are talking. Anyways. A BOX IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT ITEMS TO YOUR CAR STEREO SYSTEM. You can make kicker comps sound good with the right box...
