look back and you'll see hellish was the first one to talk about other people stuff being junk. once this started there was no reason not to tear into his obvious shortcomings in speakers.

being loud is all hellish knows about and instead of just admitting that pages and pages ago he just kept running his mouth for some reason. this started off someone stating a FACT that hellish exploded into trying to showoff knowledge he doesn't have.

i will never bother someone about what they know as long as they are willing to learn but hellish isn't one of those people. even when we show him facts he somehow thinks they are opinions.

i don't have a single aftermarket piece in my current car because i'm too picky to run lower end stuff these days and i'm not going to upgrade my econobox electrical system when i don't even like the car to begin with. what we run currently has no bearing on our knowledge. i've learned for sake of learning not just to show off or try to be a dick to people. i've helped many people in this forum just to help them not make mistakes like i did at first because i know how much a little bit of ignorance can cost you hundreds of dollars easy when you do this stuff.

and honestly best of luck with that quantum stuff i hope it last you a while and does what you want but you got screwed on that deal. i wish i could of stopped you and informed you first but you are stuck with it so i'll just drop it right there.

Have you owned q15d2spl? If not then don't speak bad about that model until
you have seen them in action burn out in front of you

i haven't had aids but that doesn't mean i don't know aids are bad. i don't need to own something personally to see the obvious problems because i know enough to recognize the problems.

the subs aren't the worst part of it though. that amplifier is absolute junk. some basic math of the situation

the subs are rated for 3000rms watts so without close to this your subs will have problems. your amp however even at 1 ohm is only capable of around 1200rms(this is based on fuse size limitation). but your subwoofers can only be wired to 2 ohm or .5 ohm(this would burn your amp) so the only choice is 2 ohm. at 2ohm that amp will only be giving your around 600rms(this is best case scenario) with goes knows how much THD.

so you are essentially trying to push something with 1/5 what it should have. this is going to cause your amp to overheat and your subwoofer voice coils to overheat. this is just the way it is i don't need to see anything in person because i have the math right infront of me..

Well I have two of these amps. Picked one up at a garage sale for 75$ brand new.
I was planning running each sub on separate amps.
Which set of amps should I invest in?

for those subs i would just throw them on it and wait for something to happen. honestly i can't tell you what to do on them because i don't think its going to work out at all. i doubt they actually handle 1500rms and there is no way of knowing until you burn one.

this is the problem with offbrand overrated stuff and why i never recommend it. without trustworthy specs you can't do much other than wait for something to happen.

if you ran 2 of those amps you are going to upgrade your cars electrical system which is going to be at least $500 just to keep your car working properly. all of that just to run some random offrband subs that could burn up at any second.

Ok well I had a q12d2spl running at 750 rms. Blew it from under powering it.
Bridged the amp on the second sub. Lasted til my brother ran the bass at Max. Put in a bass knob and
Maxed it out. It blew after a month of full power.

you can't bridge a mono amp. it has 2 sets of terminals but on the inside they are all connected already.

clipping is what killed both of those and without knowing exactly how much the sub should have(relies on the manufacturer telling you the right amount) you will keep having this problem.

go with a reputable brand you can trust and you will solve the problems you get with these offbrands.

How old are you?
I am buying  an Mitsubishi Eclipse later today.
I plan on building my system up from there.
Infinity stock speakers.
ill swap them out with a better recommended
speaker that will play loud clear music and throw an amp to them.
Ill hook my quantums up. I will post a video up testing the
systems clarity and DB. I'm still learning new things.
still have a lot to learn. But its ridiculous why people like avoid constantly
Criticize on other people's systems and setups.

unlike you avoid. Hellish orc was helpful and offered advice. Don't rip on people's systems when you
don't have any system what so ever.

I'm 21 and I worked in a car audio shop doing sales and installs since I was 17. I've had systems, as of right now I dont because I sold it all. I even sold the car it was all in.

I give out advice, hardly anymore because nobody listens. I was giving out car audio advice before you even made your JSP account. Before this section was even here. When the Discussion thread was posted in the Motorsport & Car subforum.

You're trying to say he isnt criticizing? I'm given him props, but he doesnt accept it. For example, in the thread posted by RedTea, I told RedTea that the option that Hellish gave was a good one, and also recommended another option. What does Hellish do? He says that his option would put my "piece of shit" option to shame.

And in this thread, I've backed up what I said. He just said stupid shit like "cool" and never backed anything up.

You've never owned an 18" RE XXX, keep thinking you did. I had an RE XX 12", in which I even posted pics to show I had it. But I ended up selling it for more than I paid for it, so I took the cash and ran. Especially because at the time I couldnt afford the amplifier that I had wanted to power it with. You're looking at Quantum equipment, which is SHIT.

Care to try and call me out on anything else while you're at it?

If you didnt notice, the 2 sticky'd topics in this section are posted by me, so dont try to say I never contributed. I've made over 10k fg helping stupid randoms like you put together stupid budget build systems.

Why are you talking like you're talking to an Audience? lmao does this forum mean that much to you? to make your epeen look bigger? dude I know more then you about car audio 10 fold I'm willing to learn but not when some scrubs are giving misinformation. I don't care what you think Avoid started this whole argument talking shit, you can get off my nutts now. Why don't you go buy a system and get loud and clean? instead of wasting all of your time nuthugging Avoid and talking shit. You kids are hilarious.

Cadillac, Avoid and Subwoofer are the biggest fails I've ever seen on a Car Audio forum and people should NOT listen to them.
