I'm in need of some assistance so, anyone possibly help me out?

I've got a 1000W @ 1Ohm Mono amp (http://www.ddaudio.com/amp/09/amp09CM1.htm) and two Dual 2Ohm 10" Subs (http://www.dealercostcaraudio.com/d310d22.aspx)
Now, the whole wiring them together changing the ohms is still confusing to me...so I was hoping, how should I wire these up?
Run the amps [+] to the [+] on (Sub 1) and series both those coils, then series in the second sub and it's two coils, taking the vinal [-] terminal to the amps ground?
I believe I read somewhere about bridging them together...all [+] to the amps [+] and all [-] to the amps ground lead...
Would that work well or are there better ways?
The whole deal just confuses me, with all the variations.

I appreciate the help, let me know if you need more information...

Your best bet is to wire them parallel as shown in the pic putting them @ 2ohm getting about 325watts RMS each

Okay, problem with that diagram is its for single voice coils...I've got two Dual Voice Coils. That changes things doesn't it? Unless...would wiring the coils in series and the subs in parallel work?

If you put all the positives together and all the negatives together I believe your amp would see 0.5ohms. If it can handle that then your shit would wang handcore.
If not, then take the positive from one coil, and the negative from the other coil and plug those into your amp (do that with both subwoofers)
You will have 1 pos and 1 neg left on each woofer, connect them together (within each separate woofer, not between the two woofers)

Edit: That should get you a 2 ohm load on your amplifier.

Your subs are 4ohm.. Running two 4ohm subs in parallel makes it 2 ohm. With your amps output @ 2ohm you will have 325watts per sub. I can show you the math if you want or you can take 2 minutes & google it so you understand before you blow something up.

What do you think about power capacitors/kinetik batterys or regular 12v car batterys to help your main battery/alternator by splitting the current and adding this to help on your cars electrical and better power your amp up?

Mainly opinions on this. 10.0 farad (holds alot of energy for powerful amps/systems)
Usually ppl go with the 1.0 - 5.0

What system are you running? 10 farad is probably going to be overkill.

AP30001D - amplifier
2x 2ohm type r's - subs
custom made fiber glass sealed box 6'' port
0 gauge wire

How would it be an overkill? farad is just the capacity the capacitor holds, the bigger the better.
And optima batteries, kinetik batteries? they work the same way, just power caps are cheaper and with the led + volt LCD reader
it adds a nice touch.

what ohm are you running the subs @?

that amp is too big for those subs.

the most you should be running to those subs is 1500 @ 1 ohm, and at that I suggest a 2 farad cap, not a 12. i wanna say the basic rule is 1 farad per 1000 RMS watts. so <1000 = 1 farad, >1000-<2000 = 2 farad.
