paid off my car. after 5 years stilled owed $6200 was really contemplating on just doing a whole new setup.
but now ill have a xtra $400 a month to spend. plus my credit score went up alot by doing so. so maybe increase in credit line^^

thinking about cutting the whole back deck out of the charger and building a deck and porting through the deck with a slot port with 1 18 revers mounted so the box wont be as big.

Everyone nowadays trying all these crazy builds. With little to no gain. My favorite people arw the ones that say yeah im gonna build a 4th order lol... A regular ass slot ported box IS a 4th order. Keep it simple man. Will be just as loud. Focus on the install make it look clean. Make sure yoir electric is on par.

Also if you wanna save space check out dss ethos. They perform amazingly in smaller enclosures. I've had tons of sub setups and they are hands down my favorite subs.

Don't wanna sound like a fan boy or anything but the ascendant audio smd are designed for really small enclosures. Don't do an 18 in the trunk. You can get some sick ass 10s and 12s. Maybe look into DC audio level 6 or 7 10s or 12s

i know a 18 wont work ported. so i thought it may work reverse mounted so the box wont be as big. also my seats dont fold down , and in the chargers. these seats are cushing foam. backed with hard thick plasting wrapped in cloth. VERY sound deadening.

ive had fold down seats in other cars and know how loud it can get but with these seats there it almost kills 70% of tyhe bass. it is redicilous how loud it is when i take the seats out.

i was thinking of making a box with slot port up sub to rear of trunk. molding a new back deck cover so i can use that as my deck. cutting a slot out of the metal that hold my speakers because well. i dont even have any installed in the rear deck. front stage is on point.

slot port rear deck connected to box so its porting through would be nice imo. everyone who has chargers know these cars trunks limit the sound and bass coming in.

or i was thinking about externam aero port though factor 8 inch sub mount in rear deck as well.
