colors should matter?

says the read is Power and the Black is my Ground. i got those hooked up, the orange/white on both is for illumination, got that

now for the subs

speaker wire colors change year to year company to company.

power and ground wires are fairly consistent but still not universal.

instead of relying on colors you need the wiring harness diagram. this will tell you what head unit wires connect to what wiring harness wires. with this it takes all of 5 minutes to completely redo the wiring harness.

tbh just go grab a $20 harness and some butt connectors(electrical tape only is a bad idea) and completely restart.

best buy/walmart should have one for your car.

a lot easier than losing 5k fg lol.
