BRO you've been bagging on my system since day ONE lmao I don't mind criticism but you're not giving any you're trying to troll because ur stuck up my ass for some reason... and you say my reason for not finishing a box is bullshit yet ive only had this box for a few months and im already working on my next one with a kerfed port @ 6ft^3 with more bracing and slightly higher tuning. I've only had this vehicle for 6 months and I'm playing with the sound heh. Go to any competiton and half the competitors or daily drivers half unfinished boxes some boxes that are so ugly you'd be like wtf? yet they hit 150's and higher I care about the sound of the box idgaf what it looks like until i find my daily enclosure and how I like it im now spending $100 to get my box rhino lined and painted when I can just build the box for $50 and that's it.

and bro theres A LOT to car audio that's the problem you don't know enough about it to know that in order to get the proper sound tuning EQ imaging etc. it requires a TON of knowledge and use of math/programs. I have a dirt bike and my buddy is a motocross rider and the kids a moron so I can't see how hard it can be since 90% of the time motocross riders have a mechanic. I want to see you hit a 150 off 1 15" woofer on 2000w and design a box that doesnt flex and gives the perfect tuning desired for the woofer and the vehicle.

I know I said I wouldn't respond but do you listen to yourself? You sit here and talk SHIT about MY system when you don't even have one a person who has no desire to spend time and money on a hobby he supposdily loves and knows a lot about but can come onhere bag someones system and act like the king of car audio and then turn around and say motocross is harder and better go on the motocross board then.

You have nothing here so why continue trolling the audio forums? I can show you over 20 systems ive setup and more than half a SPL 1st placers in their division and no not against 1 or 2 other people against over 20+ at sanford sound from MA, RI, CT, VT, NY . ME ,  NH. I just don't get you man fi you don't like me dont post in my topics im not going to continue to argue with you just ignore me and ill ignore you heh.

actually if you'll recall the only things i've actually said were retarded was your choice in 4 channel amp and mids/highs.

3 months isn't playing with the tuning...if you were actually playing trial and error with boxes you wouldn't need 3 months of use to do so. as i said before...build it right the first time and you won't have to switch it out. the only understandable reason for switching would be one for daily use and 1 for competition....you however just fucked up on the current box and are replacing it because of your mistake...own up to it and stop being a cry baby.

half of the competitors will also be borderline retarded...i don't think anyone has every accused the car audio crowd of having an abundance of geniuses. the fact of the matter is anyone who has has the most money to throw into their setup is going to do well....no matter how well you can design your own setup you can't compete with someone that has 4x your budget to work with. car audio=pay to win.

$100 to get it lined? dude its like $30 for a gallon of roll on bedliner at autozone.

being a motocross rider and being able to compete are entirely different things. its the same thing in any sport...amateurs are everywhere but just because they are there doesn't mean they have a chance to win. you can't pay to win in motocross. your ability to ride the motorcycle is far more important than how much you spent on it.

want to see me hit 150? why do you say this like if one person can do it everyone else is somehow incapable? car audio isn't theoretical physics trying to understand the very foundations of the universe...its a hobby so for the love of god stop glorifying it like you just solved world hunger or something.

have you designed a world champion setup? no? then you are still just another hobbyist. honestly i realize you think you've actually accomplished something...but look at the big picture and realize that best in division is mediocre. thats the difference between me and you...i don't make car audio into some grand complex competition in my mind...i realize its largely just average people and if they are having fun let them have fun...you however take it far too seriously for having accomplished next to nothing in "competitions".

hell from what i remember you bragged about winning first place when you were the only entry or some bullshit like that when someone looked it up.

hes talking about you dude saying ur a hater and a retard >.< and I come here for discussion not your trash talk it has nothing to do with confidence I know I can outshine you in car audio easily and prove it it's the fact that you have no respect and disregaurd all the hard work that I put into my system and not a shop. and make stupid remarks.

also I skimmed some of what you said just to see what I could take a quick jab at and you can't pay to win in competitions eigther I've been beaten by a system that cost half as much as mine but they messed with it a lot and used meters to get perfect positioning and made boxes so sturdy they didnt flex. In any competition you CANT pay to WIN ever... Also they don't sell the Rhino line I want around here you have to have it professionally done at a Rhino Lining shop, I don't use that thin stupid tacky looking garbage if I go the whole way I use the thick roll on and do multiple coats Ive done them before and it came out way better in the end. To rhino line a box the right way can cost upwards of $100 all day.

so because you can't pay to win...its not pay to win? makes sense.

with enough money you could pay world champion level designers to design for you....competitions don't require you to do anything but show up and say its yours.

roll on liners even duplicolor liner will do the job of finishing the box and its fairly cheap. line-x or rhino liner are expensive because they cater to shit like people covering their entire cars with it...a subwoofer box inside a vehicle does not need more protection than the cheap options give.

have you ever tried duplicolor liner or herculiner? the only real difference between them and something like line-x is they fade faster in the sun...but thats not an issue inside a vehicle.

Well if I don't pay to win the no it's NOT pay to win how doesn't that make sense? there are class restrictions like: tuning, size, power, cone area, electrical that all limit what you spend and have for competition vs the other drivers so your whole point is irrelavent you must have never been to a REAL competition.

World champions don't just dump money bor they spends days and weeks testing and altering their builds to squeeze that 1 more db etc. also to obtain SPL, DAILY and SQ level is really hard I have a DAILY/SPL and SQ build and it's not nearly done.

How is fading in a sun not an issue INSIDE a vehicle when a vehicle sits int he sun the sun goes DIRECTLY on the box 90% of the time everytime I park the sun shines all over my box it's what they call a hatch window and side windows... Like Sometimes man you just have to give up and think before you type and start less fights act your age and be a man.

it takes money to spend weeks testing and altering their builds. whoever has the most money to spend has the advantage plain and simple. can they spend a lot more than others and lose? sure but thats because they are too dumb to pay for expertise instead of just more power and a more expensive subwoofer.

there are class restrictions...however unless you make people handbuild everything its still open to pay to win. every class restriction still leaves room for higher quality...therefore whoever can afford the highest quality equipment and put the most money towards development is going to have the advantage.

want real competition that involves skill? build your own subwoofer and amplifier from scratch and compete against others who have done the same....this would require REAL skills to do.

competing with mass produced equipment isn't an accomplishment in reality. this is why i don't really give a shit about competitions because any aspect of it can be excelled at with a higher budget.

edit: was 51 secs but its not hard to tell when someone has posted because its not greyed out anymore....thank god for smart forum features. god forbid i'm on the internet at 8 at night...what has the world come to?!

to be fair whoever has the fastest best tuned bike will win in motorcross so what's your point? lmao sure money can change the tides of comps but its only like half the build.

and i have built a subwoofer from scratch before and competed with it and built my own box and did my own install... so whats ur point?

think what you want but people dont compete for the pure fact of spending money winning IS an accomplishment your argument is invalid and makes NO sense lol i can tell you havnt met any real competitors and talked to them go on car audio and say it requires no skill and just money and ull be laughed off the site.

uve been on here all day waiting for me to post and responding u do it everytime I come to these boards im beggining to think you dont much much of a life... what is ur argument what are you trying to prove? you make it sound like car audio sucks and is boring so why do you hang here and act like a know it all and put people down? just sad bro real sad hate moar! lemme see some fo your past setups bro I wanna see you break 140db lmao. you prob spent as much as others on systems and wasnt loud so you talk shit. I just don't get your motive for bashing on me and trying to prove to me that it takes no skill to be loud.
