Just as a side note I also got a optima yellow top battery to begin with. I know about the wiring and shit, I've had a few stereo's prior.

wiring link was because some brands use fake/shitty wiring. knukonceptz has great wire for the money.

that yellowtop will be fine. your electrical systems wiring and alternator size play much larger roles than the battery.

also when you ground your amplifier make sure to sand off the paint...i realize being a nice car you might be hesitant to do this but its necessary for the amp to get a good ground.

There's a factory ground point on the passenger side pillar, behind the seat. If you take off the lower trim panel, you'll see it. I sanded down the surface to make sure I had a good connection. I haven't installed the amps for the mids/tweeters yet, but no noise issues with the sub.

not sure how many or which grounding spot is best for your car so just go with whatever works that you find on there.

I might not be able to do the 5" height. With the height of the sub in the box plus movement I will be close to hitting my roof.

I can't really drop it down any more since the speaker is 3 1/4" mount depth.
