i was planning on doing knu for the wiring kit, made my brother buy the 4g set for when he bought a new car
sun expose is the main problem of the front ones yes
and i dont know if 4 inch speakers would help my problem, it's the mounting depth aswell as the magnet's diameter
e) thinking about it though, i could get a 4 inch and it would be easier to make a spacer that i can get the stock grills to slip into,
ee) but then i'd have the issue of the 4-channel amp
eee) i've got a budget of 250$, i'm only looking to spend at most 175$ atm

no way to remove whatever is getting in the way of the magnets? doesn't really matter if you make a mess doing it because the speaker will cover it up.

with an mb amp you should be able to fit speakers/amp into your budget right now pretty easily.

well, unless i want to cut into my dash cluster no, the bottom of the magnet is just above the cornet of the cluster, only option i have to go is up, i could find like a 1/4 inch piece of wood, cut it out to fit into the slots, then cut out the hole for the speakers, and drill holes for the speaker covers

oh i see. i was thinking it was just dash mat causing the problem lol.

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_4305_American-International-SG-400-DX.html some for ten but i think you could probably get a better/cheaper solution for that problem.

Alpine SPS410 (4 inch speakers) 46$
Rockford p2d4-12 (12 inch sub) 86$
MB Quart fx1.400 (sub amp) 60$
~ 182$ here

all prices are from amazon, sonicelectronix should price match and reduce it a dollar or so.
i got a friend that has a Dual 600 watt 4-channel (50-watt rms @ 4 ohms) i can get for 30$
i could see what the sound was like from my scosche RCA's and the dual amp

eh i wouldn't bother with that dual amp. their sound quality is complete crap and its probably more like 25rms@4ohms.
