ya forgot it was carbed so ya its probably mechanical lol.
holy christ your car is basic as they get lol.
if you keep idling to a minimum you probably won't have issues during the day. headlights may be an issue still.
hahahaah yeah got this car ages ago and kept it in good condition, recently got into car audio so I've been pushing it to its limits.
Never bothered looking for a nicer car but since this car is gonna be hitting its 30th birthday in 2 years I figure it'll be time for a better one.
Got my eye on a Supra ;), plans so far for it are 2 18"s on 3kwrms, ho alt and a few AGM batts... but that's still a while away so I'm just making sure my current setup will work.
My current setup is 3 12"s so something we didn't take into account was box rise, it's a triple chambered box so it will probably see less than 1000wrms after rise.
Someone I've asked ran 700wrms on a 70amp alt on an AGM batt and never dropped below 13.6, so i figure 85Ah, 85amp alt, 1000wrms isn't pushing it too much.
Had someone run a stock alt on a honda accord but with 2 AGM batts was pushing a little over 2kwrms and stayed in the 13's
But now that i'm on the topic, do AGM batts do much to improve voltage drop or would it be the same as a non-agm as long as the Ah values are the same? I doubt it's really worth an extra $100 just to be able to stack a battery on its side (and a little extra life).
