Not 2 years ago they didn't... I believe that's the current argument. and I don't have to check discontinued decks I was an alpine fanboy 2 years ago I knew every headunit they had inside and out lol. Regaurdless 4v preout only really matters when you're not running a 4 channel or 2 channel separate from your monoblock.

i have a jvc i love it but i also like kenwoods
