New Mercedes have Fiber Optic antenna's, which can be a pain in the ass as well.

I haven't seen fiber optic in like 5 years back when it was "top of the line" for home audio haha.

yeah its a new Gm vehicle and that whole issue with onstar and shit was one thing the guy mentioned. The harness is only 147$ i think

The money is not the problem, and I am not going for "extreme" I just want one of a few things...

1 ) Profresional installation, no fucking around. I have had ill experienced people do work on cars of mine in the past and its really fucked me- so paying more is worth it.
2 ) Why Kenwood? I don't exactly know, It was recommended and they simply told me for the money it was worth it.

Im not looking to dump A lot of money into it, Just enough to have it done right and suit my needs.. and thats just being able to travel back and forth to boston and portland from home this summer and have some good sound thats not over doing it.

I'd say 200 if everything is in good condition. Kenwood only makes good amps and headunits, speakers are subpar and subwoofers are about onpar with Alpine and Kicker equivalents so no real loss there.

Hes not far off . Just sold my buddy a prime 1000 with 2 x jl10 w3's, 4 x k68 kickers and a sony deck with usb and bluetooth for 300 with enclosure wiring and install.
