Blazer will probably rip you with the Vortec aside from that who races crappy trucks and SUV's? My boys 2004 Yukon 6.0 HO is about the only SUV I concider fast and thats' with a performance upgrades thing ripped a WRX a new asshole :D guy musta shit when he saw us pass him doing almost 140 on the highway.

The blazer has a basic 4.3 vortec, mine has a 4.3 with a roller cam, roller rockers, roller lifters and shit. And my truck is a whole lot lighter has has 3.08's. My s10 shit on a stock cummins before.

I have a fun little race setup for when I get my truck back in two weeks lol.

Kid with a 2.8 colarado, a kid with a 4.3 s10, a kid with a 3.7 5 cylinder, and me. Pretty sure I got em all lol.
