You can get a pair of Sundown 10's off a vendor and not eeeebay for probably around 200-250 shipped depending on your location. In the end that extra $100 is more then worth it imo for what you get. The 12" Sundown are only like $100 more then the Type R's as well.

Id rather stick with my type r's lol. they sound perfectly fine to me in my sealed box, and can get pretty stupid loud when I turn them up

Nope, iv seen them but never heard them. I don't need anything fancy for this truck tbh. I have a pretty damn good setup considering I have less than $100 in the whole thing. And I switch vehicles alot, so putting alot of money into vehicle specific stuff would be a waste.

If you paid $100 then you have a nice setup but not everyones so luck you know eebay is almost as cheap as it gets for most people. So I'm just comparing.

I bought my subs from a mechanic I knew that had them laying in his shop floor, barely used.
my amp I traded for
my HU came with my first car I ever bought
already had the wires and cap from years of being an electrical junkie
door speakers I traded for

Only thing I paid cash for was my subs ($80), and a sheet of 1/2" wood to make my false floor to hide my amps and cap.
