the only other thing you might want to consider is some new battery terminals to go with it. it will make it a lot easier when you do the big 3.

I can buy those locally, correct?
I'm definitely going to get one of those yellow top batteries, partially out of rage and anger toward the 2 brand new batteries I just put in my car that I have had to get replaced.
I went to leave for work today and the battery is dead, nothing was left on. RAAAAAAAAAGE. Lol.

Would it be cheaper to buy them online?
As far as these yellow top batteries go, is there a place other than the manufacturers website that sells them cheaper?

well since a battery is fairly heavy and probably has hazardous material shipping cost its probably not going to be cheaper online in the end.

autozone is cheaper than their website i'm pretty sure.

the terminals are up to you. the aftermarket ones jut make wiring a lot cleaner pretty much. something like http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_20636_Tsunami-TSBT-PN.html?from=701

auto zone has it for $200 compared to 279 from the manufacturer website. Thanks for the tip.
the minute I decide 100% what to buy, I'll be donating to you and whoever else has helped.

What other options do I have for a sub? Could I buy the subs and box separately and get something better?

well that setup comes with a perfect box for the subs and saves you a lot of trouble. to build your own ported box without experience would be a hassle and there is no telling what a local shop would charge you.

those subs will be pretty loud so unless you want outrageously loud+hours of extra work they will be great for you.

okay, I'm set on them. I'm having my dad check the alternator, if you still need that info.
was the second sub/amp combo provided for the reason of being able to run off my current alternator? I don't remember. Lol.

ya the second setup draws a lot less power than the first one so if its a 105 amp alternator you will be fine probably.

run the 4 inches off the head unit itself. use the 4 channel on the other 4.
