my focus has the better engine in it... so it doesnt have the problem of whatever the fuck the malibu guy is talking about...

the biggest issue with your car is going to be fuel pumps and things falling off it. ford did a better job with them later on but 01s are notorious for killing fuel pumps ever 10-20k miles and being poorly put together.

You can find a headunit for like $50.00, just go to walmart, Dual is a common cheaper priced brand. I have it in my corolla, works well.

You can also go to pep-boys and find subs for like $100-150 that come with an amp. If not here, get one off craiglists.. but you need to make sure it works before you buy it.

Getting all of it installed will cost a little bit of money too, so you'll at least spend around $300

lol that sucks. worst thing about the focus is you don't get to drive it enough without the fuel system fucking up or the front bumper falling off or other random shit happening to hurt the engine lol. friend had a 01 and he was going through fuel pumps like crazy lol.

Yea man, this Malibu is the worse car I've EVER owned. Blows head gaskets like a champ.
