Again like i said, the issue is the infinity sound system. Been there and done this man, i know what im talking about. You either have to use a jumper wire to start the stock amp, or bypass it.

how would i wire the head unit up? i plan on adding a aq4x90 to run a front componet set

are you wanting to keep using the infinity amp or do you want to bypass it?

If you want to use the infinity amp then the only thing you are going to change on the hook up is the factory plug in. Pin #12 is going to be the amp remote(orange/white wire) and you just need to pop the pin out on your radio harness, and move the remote wire so that when the plugs are connected, the remote fits into the #12 remote slot.

If you dont want to swap out the pin, just make a jumper wire and run the wire from the new harness remote plug in, and jump it into pin #12's slot.

Well the issue isnt going to be the actual headunit. Let me know if you still cant get this figured out, and ill see if i can draw you up a diagram to show you how to fix it.

Did you buy a wiring harness for the HU? getting power should be as simple as crimping the harness to the stereo wires, and plugging it into the car harness.
