well if your car isn't stock double din its too much work to try and fit a double din. if it is stock double you can use either but double dins are more expensive.

the kenwood is lacking alot of the nicer features that the jvc offers and the jvc you linked is pretty old. but either way they will work if thats all you're looking for i just like having features lols.

also the jvc i linked comes with about $50 worth of free things on top of its better features.

There didnt seem to be that many more on that one than the jvc one i linked except the color thing which does seem pretty badass lol..

Yeahh thats true, which i'll be needing those when i get it installed anyways.

Which i'll probably have to get it done at bestbuy since i have no idea wtf id be doing and they gaurentee their installs

the jvc has expandable features like bluetooth and more control features for your audio. the kenwood/jvc head units are going to be basic crap like +/- bass and fades with +/- sub controls.

get one of them if you want its fine for beginners its just going to be boring with no real options and you'll end up paying almost as much as the jvc i linked even if you get that cheap jvc since its around $50 for install gear.

Yeahhh i'll prob just get the one you linked.

then use the gift card for the install work
