First off, there is a difference between Max and RMS
1500 is the max wattage those subwoofers can take, the RMS is the "root mean squared" which is the meaure found by some rediculously complex equation that is the amount of power a subwoofer can take for extended periods of time.
Your subwoofers are probably 5-600 RMS
To answere your question, yes. A 3000w amp with push both subwoofers at 1500w each if you wire them correctly.
Edit:
If he's selling you his used one for $350 to you then he really isn't that much of a 'buddy'
You can buy them new for that much.
Understood,
First off my subs are 600 rms each, how much is the amp (rms) watts are 3000. When we figure out how much rms my amp is then will figure out how I should bridge them to get max rms to each, saying that the amp can handle 1200 rms.
Also the amp new runs around 350-400 withoit taxes and shipping so if I were to buy new, by the time it gets to the door it'll run me almost 500.
I appreciate the help guys, expecially props to you Doc.
