1400$ on subs. Another 3000$ on the amp. I would need to buy stiffer shocks for my car.
Its asking for more then 5000$ to have a great setup. Ill just throw the quantums in with
Some sq speakers.

Alpine: They are decent I suppose if you buy them online atleast they can be had for a decent price they can actually get pretty loud if you give them rated in a nice box but they don't take a single watt over-rated so imo not worth the money compared to some other brands.
JBL: They made great amplifiers back in the day and have a few higher end ones out now that are good but other than that nothing special.
MTX: Other than the Thunder 7500's and up they are junk and their amplifiers are overpriced.
JL: Decent SQ on some of their models but for the price better can be had.
AudioBahn: Junk.
Pioneer: Only good for Speakers and Headunits and in some cases 4 Channels although the Premier subwoofers are pretty nice for the price.
Orion: They make some great amplifiers and their HCCA subwoofers are incredible
Polk: Only good for door speakers if you want to spend some extra money not bad though.
Bose: I only use these in my home not recommended for any type of car audio unless it's stock.

If you want SQ go with DD, Daytons or SSA.
If you want SPL go with Fi, Sundown, AB, Hifonics, Soundstream, DC, AA etc.
If you want both, you need to learn a lot more about this shit.

Of course curtain brands have their SQ line though such as DC's Level 3's and Fi's Q series.

That's weird, my 500 RMS ATR's take 750 RMS a lot better than they take 500 RMS.

Ok mr know it all lmao... couple things I'll point out, he backed up his claims with the fact that "he knew tons of people." so before you nut hug him some more maybe figure out why I say what I say first and not look like a blind moron. Second they may be cheap Pioneers but since I know a bit about setting up equipment I'm able to tune things to make them louder and take more clean power regardless of what you think. and what do you run Mr god of SQ? The clear fact that I'm buying 8 6.5" Crescendo Pro's this week is proof enough I know SQ so maybe you should stop blindly talking shit and nut hugging avoid.

Chances are you're running a garbage setup like him and know nobody so you sit on forums talking shit about what you read online. and FYI knowing people affects A LOT... what deals you get, what information and help they can provide as well as tips. The reason my boxes are so damn successful is because of the people I know, one of the reasons I get prices for what I do is because of the people I know, one of the reasons I'm able to test my equipment and push it as far as I can is because of the people I know, just because you don't know anybody doesnt mean it's not significant.

But what do I know I'm 3 time TNESPL Champion in my Class and 2 Classes above mine... Don't listen to the guy that has actually competed and designs/builds boxes and installs systems daily.

I have 2 18" xxx. Recommended amps for this?
I also have 2 quantum 15's. I have used them before. They pound hard
Lasted a long time powering them at 25% over the rated power.
then my brother thought it was alright to run bass high and throw in a bass knob.
Ended up blowing it.

You don't have an 18 XXX. You posted about your quantu, 15s which are junk.

From what I've found a HiFonics 1500.1D with two 4 Ohm DVC wire3d to 1 Ohm puts out around 1600 RMS.

You have to be more in depth the Brutus or the Hifi? Because the Brutus does not do around 1600rms and the Hfi doesn't even do rated.
