Don't worry, the Iphone 4 has a few downfalls itself.

This is in my house, if it was in my car it would be different ;)
I would never be ok with my voltage dropping that low on a amp i actually car about. But the cap stopped the problem i had with the amp going so weak that the LED's flicker.

/e The lowest i can get the voltage to drop to is 9.7, and that's like knocking pictures off the wall bass.

If anyone here has an Iphone, there's a pretty cool app for it called jl audio, has a spl meter, real time analyzer , speaker polarity test, and some pretty cool calculators for car audio.

I've seen that one. It jsut works as a cheap sound meter, doesn't really measure sound pressure level..
As in it wouldn't even register my subs at all lol :(

It has two diffrent types of measuring it, the actual meter didn't seem to work right, but the meter that was with the spectrum analyzer seemed to be more accurate.

I'd love to go somewhere and rent an SPL meter and measure my system, but I think they're really expensive to even rent :/
