can't find anything about that store

I'm near Montreal

yeah im not seeing any. keep in mind if you order from a US site you will have to pay import fees.

is the $1k budget including install cost? cause paying a brick and mortar shop to do this is 90% of the time a complete ripoff considering how this is time consuming and not actually difficult to do. so if you can see yourself with a few hours on the weekend to devote to this you can save yourself money really easy.

I would like it to include the install. I have the time to do it, even if it's -20 outside I have a garage but I know if I do it it will not have a nice finnish. I have no idea what I would be doing. Like I would have to cut my console and stuff to make everything fit it's really what I'm good at haha

you would be surprised at the end result when you do it yourself. dash kits and wire harnesses make it damn near idiot proof.. if I were you id look for a decent single din unit with 3 rca outputs front/rear/sub.. that way you can add amplifiers to your setup later on if you want... pioneer/sony/eclipse/clarion. all decent decks. just find one you like the looks of and go from there. stay away from jensen/dual/jvc.

this..

although i have had some really nice jvc headunits before. but yea 80% of jvc stuff is garbage..

another good option is kenwood. their decks are solid also.
