for what they are alpine type r's do get pretty loud but way over priced. alpine type x's also get pretty loud as well and have great sq. but way way overpriced. I had a alpine 4 chan amp that wasnt impressive and their head units arent bad but are super ugly imo. and once again way overpriced lol
