its a dual amp in 1 chassis from what ive been reading
you can switch it also 100 rms front 60 back or you can do 60 rms front and bridge 300rms in rear for subs its a neat amp
i guess it makes sense considering people usually have a mix between 6.5s and 6x9s and 6x9s usually have higher rms wattage.
kind of situational but i guess it has its place.
