lt1?

why in gods name wouldn't you take the extra step and do an ls1

Theres documented builds (bolt ons) where they've made 1,000+ hp on a stock ls1 and 4.8l (truck motor the 290 cube v8) with nothing but a 90mm turbo and a take off corvette intake

the one that I read about had 60 documented dyno pulls on the stock bottom end, they didn't expect it to make it past the 2nd run after they tuned it, was a 4.8l at that, the LS motors are something fierce

I kept a smallblock 350 to atleast be some what "time correct" with what it had in it, because you could optionally order a 350 motor from the dealer

Whenever i blow this one up though its gonna probably be a ls9 that will go under the hood.

That is what I said, he hasn't driven the car in over a year. He actually has a 2010 gmc sierra that he supercharged and also a 01 vette they super charged. They also just got a jeep grand Cherokee and supercharged that as well. These people contestants doing work. He has a impala as well that they removed the supercharger off of. I personally would have ls1 out in it. But they have like 3 extra lt1's chillen.

I mean theres nothing wrong with lt1s but a ls1 is a more modern motor and obviously a better motor, the internals are the same i believe but the ls1 more efficient and modern
