its ur ground wire

i would think its not. my ground from the amp is grounded at the negative stock battery terminal and my 2nd ground from my 2nd battery is grounded to the chassis at where the main battery is grounded to. but im gonna check it all out today and see whats goin on. i got a feeling i blew a fuse its just to similar o what used to happen with my old system where it would blow a fuse and only hit hard at low volume but once i turn it up it doesnt hit. thanks for all the suggestion tho. let yall know later what i find.

everytime any of my systems have done this its been the ground @ the amp... ive never had a amp that would even power on with a blown fuse? I read about you haveing a cap too.. maybe you have to much power for it to fully charge back up too... I had a 10 farad cap that would do what you said it was doing with a t2500bd.. I removed the cap and it worked fine.. are u using same size wire for ground as u are your power?

Yea same wire size for ground and power both at zero Guage. Just checked again this morning one sub is working and not going into protect. I think maybe the wire connector terimal came loose inside the box. So ill check that later afterwork.

what size amp? those subs are only rated for 1000rms

Hfi 3000d they are only getting about 1000k Watts a piece they can surely handle well over 2 k Watts as I've seen a daily driver setup running 2200 into each without a problem.

im sure u can with the right box and really good electric. if you have a cap then you dont have good electric.

No cap just a 2nd battery which I think I'm going to take out.

check and make sure its charged up.. are your subs d2 or d4? do u have em wired lower than 1 ohm?
