for the love of god......

that amplifier is not 500 watts per sub...christ i thought you said looked into stuff? that amp is not indicative of looking into stuff.

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_45513_Alpine-MRX-F65.html

at best you bridge it @4ohms and get 320 a sub...but don't plan on having that amp for long if you go this route.

now down to the reality of it all

same speakers/better head unit/better amplifier=$750 on sonicelectronix

then instead of being a lady you can do the install yourself

head unit=follow directions that comes with wiring and dash kit+30 minutes of time
speakers= 2 wires and 4 screws per and removing door panels which take the time to google your car+5 minutes
amplifier=this is the only one that isn't straight forward. once you get the power wire into the interior its as easy as removing trim pieces, jamming wires under them...putting them back on with a screwdriver.

why exactly are you in need of a custom box?

for insurance to cover it I need to have it bolted down and the way my car is the box that comes with the subs won't fit the way I need it to. Which means I gotta get a bigger box
and I posted wrong amp. Thats my fault.

http://www.alpine-usa.com/product/view/mrx-m110

My father is now going to try and do the installations and that brings the cost down of my system to 1,550.
From what I have read, sub's work best with the same brand amp because that's how they are tested. They don't test kicker amp's with alpine subs, that's why I choose to stick with all alpine.

I would consider ordering the head unit//front//rear speakers online if I could get them cheaper.
I don't need bluetooth in my deck but most of the better one's come with it. But it cost's an extra 25$ to get blue tooth installed.
Again I want to stick with all alpine.

I like their subs. And their amp's goes best with it
Their speaker's have awesome mid's and high's even though they don't have a lot of bass but since I got subs I don't need them
The only reason I choose alpine deck was to keep it all the same. If you can find a better deck for a better price by all means go ahead. I will gladly look into it.

So if you can find my same speakers online for cheaper. (Make sure to include shippnig fee's) And a better deck I would gladly look into them and see what I find.
But please remember that I am getting a deal by getting them all at the same store. He gave me 15-20% off on all of my items.

I hope you didn't take any of that as sarcasm. I actually want you to try and find something. Maybe there is something I over looked. I am always open to opinions. Let me know.

like i said for an almost identical setup its just $750 us+box price. the thing about the amp and sub brands matching is just a case of people confusing correlation with causation.

alpine decks are woefully overpriced for what you get. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_63987_Pioneer-DEH-X8500BH.html for example.

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/ you'll need to inquire about canadian shipping.

now onto the box

" won't fit the way I need it to"

what does that mean exactly? and the bolting it down part is as simple as using 4 brackets, 4 bolts for the body, 4 screws for the box.

Ok I will look into the deck. Is there anyway I could contact the people who own sonicelectronix.com and ask them about their shipping prices to Canada?
Ok I looked into the deck somewhat. 225.99 is going to be the final cost to order this into canada. Is it worth buying?

This is what the trunk looks like. Now, under that is my spare tire. Between the tire are 2x plates like | o | The o being the spare tire. I need the bolts to hit those 2 plates, but with a normal sized box. I can hit one plate but it won't reach the other.
Now normally I wouldn't care but once my insurance company seen this they told me that I would need to find a box that could be bolted down to those plates. Because alpine doesn't make a box that would fit that, I need to make a custom box for my subs.
Hopefully I made that as clear as I possible could.

couple issues i'm going to bring up now that i see you are driving a smaller car

your electrical system will almost certainly be unable to handle 1100rms watts of audio.

your example is vertical right? so you want bolts to go all the way through the spare tire and onto the other side? that would basically mean you would be completely unable to use your spare tire without taking all of it apart in a long process which makes it wildly impractical.

alpine make a box? why are you only looking at "alpine boxes"?

Ok, does that mean I have to downsize just because of my car?
Yes I want to have the subs pointed upwards to the top of my car, And no. The plates don't go under the spare tire. They go directly beside them. So I am going to have L brackets on the box (4x of them) so it will be as easy as taking those 4 bolts out and getting the tire. The rest of the bolts are going to be placed on the inside of the box in L brackets again. But those are just going onto the wood plate.

Yes you are right I have only been looking into alpine boxes, but I figured, because I need such a certain and specific size, I wouldn't think any other brand would have that size.

Going onto soundelectronix.com I have added my Deck, 2x 12" (Not 15's) and my amp. It's already at 900$. That doesn't include 2x front and 2x Rear speakers wiring KIT and Box for Sub's.

I have to go to work. Let me know what you think and I will answer when I get back.

yeah your electrical system determines everything.

84 amps is what your current setup would require.

why do it have to be those vertical plates and not just the floor?

Minimum Sealed Box Volume 1.25 cubic feet
Maximum Sealed Box Volume 2.0 cubic feet
Minimum Ported Box Volume 2.0 cubic feet
Maximum Ported Box Volume 3.0 cubic feet

fairly common box specs.

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_62521_Ground-Shaker-HB-2-15-BLACK.html

two that are fine with those subs.

that alpine head unit and amplifier are simply not worth the cost at all. pioneer has similar head units for $100 and even soundqubed amplifiers similar in power ratings to that one are only $270...and they are much higher quality.

I don't even know what my electrical system would be able to take. This means I would just have to run 2x Batteries right? One for my car and the other for my system.

Box is already ordered. It was much more then that. It was 180$ so I am not to worried about it. I also got to make it my own color and design so I guess it was worth it. And yea I have to have it bolted down onto those plates for insurance to cover it.

Would I be able to get any of these pioneer head units from in town? Could you post an example of a good head unit that would work well with my system and maybe I can check stores around town to see if they have them.

As for the amp, Idk if I want to change from Alpine to anything else, the problem I am having is that I have heard what it sounds like with my 2x subs and that amp hooked up. It sounds great in my opinion and that was only half volume because we were in a store. In my car would be way better.

But again if you could post a couple amp's that would work very well with my system, go for it. I am all for looking into these things. But each sub needs about 500 WATT's and the amp is only going to be for the sub's. The speakers are going to be run off the deck.

your alternator is the problem. adding another battery just makes the problem worse. if you can't produce enough power then you do nothing but drain the batteries and then when the car turns off...well have fun finding someone with jumper cables.

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/cat_f114-3_m25_i10_pioneer-car-cd-mp3-players-single-din.html?category_id=10&manufacturer_id=25&filter_f_op_114=3&filter_f_r_21[min]=4&filter_f_r_21[max]=4&sort_order=newest_first

the amp is irrelevant at this point unless your car has a 130+ amp alternator.

deck volume doesn't determine amp output directly. you can make the amp be full output @1 volume on the head unit if you cared to.

if you are judging how it sounds in an open space like a store then you are seriously in no position to make judgements on how it sounds. the air volume of the store is wildly larger than the air volume of your car so how it sounds in a store it completely irrelevant.

at this point you need to figure out your cars alternator output before moving on.
