Most wires now-adays have such good protection and coating that their will be no disturbance running them on the same side/close to each other. :)

The most annoying thing to me about rca/remotes is that the RCA inputs are on one side of the amp and the remote is on the other, yet the remote wire runs through my rca cables and is connected almost the entire length.

I ended up just splicing some extra speaker wire and running that to the other side of the amp.

looks fucking ugly.

That's not a remote wire... It's supposed to be grounded to help shield noise.

That exactly.
It is for "protection" so their is no disruptance in the sound flow through your RCA's.
You should be running a completely seperate REMOTE wire.

indeed :) and i just moved my remote 2 inches apart from the rca just have to place the amp somewhere :)

it can be placed vertical right? (if i place it on the back of the backseat :) (only says you cant place it upside down cuz it will cause overheat

ya it can mount on the back seat but i wouldn't suggest this unless you have a fold down back seat. i say that because at some point you'll probably want to tweak the amp settings or check the connections so having to move the subs and box out of the way to get to the amp is a hassle.

if it is fold down make sure to leave enough extra speaker wire so you don't pull them out when you fold the seat down.

atm only going for 1 sub cuz gonna test if i like this "car audio" stuff, so amp can be placed next to the sub + you can fold it down (actually splits so its 2seat / 1 seat split )

was gonna put some shoes on the cables and got nuts when broke 3 of them :fume:

now i need 1 shoe for the speakerwire

ok got a problem :)

the remote wont turn on the amp when i have it in the headunit but when i place the remote wire on something else it jumps on
