2 15's are not necessary at all
I had 2 12 MTX subs which pounded, as well as vibrated the whole car
best would be 2 10s or a 12 for a civic

Bring a tape measure to that trunk, u want a box alteast 37" wide

you dont need a 15 to smash lows. lol... theres a reason why alot of people dont use anything over 12. taking you think all this is complicated stuff and imo will probably get a cheap pair of 15's that any sa 8 will destroy. my pair of twelves rattle stuff of shelves in stores, bow store windows n and out when im sittin in a prking lot. you dont need 15's to hit low notes. just a good pair of 12's or lower. sundown , dc, ab, clarion, kicker

Is one 15 too much? With a 1500 Watt AMP? will it kill the battery of a 2010 Civic Coupe?

He could always do subs firing towards the hatch upwards and port aimed towards the rear/cabin. I've seen plenty of Dual 15" boxes in cars that small question is what do those woofers require for space. Could also just go sealed with them.
But definatly smart to shop before buying.
