can't edit since it breaks links.

with the rest of the budget you can buy some sound deadening material for your car. its very useful for getting the most out of your subs.

has knukonceptz already shipped your order? if not you'll also wanna grab about 10ft of 1/0 gauge KCA wiring for big 3 upgrade. this is about $20+shipping stuff.

it monitors your entire electrical system since your whole cars runs off the same power source you don't need more than 1 to monitor your voltage.

ok

other question, i just replaced my car battery with a new AGM battery, i got my old red top i was going to buy this http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/browse/4/Auto/3/Batteries/BatteryChargers/PRD~0111522P/CTEK+Multi-use+3300+3.3A+Battery+Charger.jsp?locale=en
to charge it back up and put it in my car as a 2nd battery so i can hook all my auido stuff to.

would that be a better choice then a cap that way i would get lots of power to the system taking the strain off the cars main.

and do you have suggestions on wire and isolaters that would help

caps and second batteries are pretty much useless for daily use systems. if you are overdrawing your alternators output its going to end badly it doesn't matter if you have a 2nd battery or a capacitor at this point because relying on battery power is bad.

also adding a second battery adds a static load to your alternator which eats a few amps off its total output which is a bad thing if you are already overdrawing your alternator.

watts/14.4=amps. this equation will give you a general estimate of the amperage you need to run it. you then need to add another 30-40 amps if you have a newer car just for its basic things like engine electrical components and lights.

if your alternator can't put out the power you need there is only 1 fix..a higher output alternator. you can get your current alternator rebuilt and probably get another 20-30 amps out of it but if you need more than that its probably time for a brand new high output one.
