you always get much better deals online than local shops. bare minimum local shops are 20% higher than online prices.

those 2 amps are going to be the best cheap options out there for those subs. the mb quart is less than those subs can handle but its $30 cheaper than the hifonics which puts out their rated power.

definitely do something about that amp because its nothing but a huge liability. its like buying a brand new car tire thats actually made out of 1/8s the rubber of a normal tire....when it blows(and it will) its going to cause damage to whatever its attached to.

Well, I will un hook it and throw my old one back on there -.-
I'll toss it on craigslist for cheap and just get some cash back.

If you think those are good ill snag one, I'm just used to the bigger names that everyone likes so I'm just not sure what to pick up -.-

they are cea-2006 compliant so their specs=real. they are reliable, good build quality, cheap. mb quart/hifonics are pretty dominant in the less than $200 range amplifiers. there are better brands...but for the money they are excellent choices.

Only thing I can think of is if I return it the guy may want me to get something in his store.

He had some nice name brand ones like kenwood and sony but I'm not sure

I'll ask if I can return it but if he says no or if he says I gotta trade it in store idk what ill do.

May not be able to ditch it on craigslist that fast.

1600-1800rms watts@1ohm monoblock

there aren't really any cheap options in main stream brands in that power range. for example a 1200rms watt rockford fosgate amp online i $240.

ordering one of those two i linked are you only real options without spending $300-400+ on an amp. which simply isn't worth doing for those subs.

Yeah I'll see what I can do.

I appreciate the help.

Wish you had saw this earlier.
Or maybe I wish I wasn't so impatient

/edit also

What is the lowest wattage I can get that will still hit hard.
Keep in mind its a CRX and I don't need to full blast it. As is, I turn it up with the amp turned almost all the way down and the car basically shakes.

Just trying to make the exchange work tomorrow for a bigger name brand he has.
