okay. i will get more 5a fuses tomorrow and try to pick it apart.. is it possible that since where the ground is at.. has paint on it.. and quite a bit of dust.. that could throw off the ground? to be a bad connection?

possible but it would cause issues with the amp, not the dash lights. if its a bad ground connection amp could overheat and shut off, or just wouldnt perform to full potential, or just not turn on

yea, like i said unless the remote wire was hooked up incorrectly it should have nothing to do with the dash lights. all it takes is one of the orange wires to just touch metal and it would blow a fuse, seems to be the most logical reasoning to me.

i just have a feeling that my dimmer switch may have blown.. i could fix this. but i would rather have a mechanic run a diagnostics on the car. check for shorts etc.. then see whats going on.

it turned out. I have had a short behind the radio the whole time.. tapped it up replaced the fuses. works good now.
