If you want to get all that stuff that Subwoofer posted up for you I'm sure it will be a great match!
I would use an 8ga amp kit for that amp though. That's just me.

would it be worth the money to upgrade to punch or power series speakers? or are the primes good?

Yes it would be worth the money. We sell a lot of Punch's at the shop and they do well on amplified systems.
I think my boss actually has them in his truck.

with shipping it ends up being $12 more.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005IY3BI6/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&smid=A1NLNJ4Y2QP8Z would be a few dollars more with shipping.

Even @ 12$ more it's still worth it. The wire size different alone and the RCA quality warrants the purchase. Also you can get supersaver shipping from Amazon on stuff over $25 and it's free shipping.

About how much do you typically have to turn a hu up to notice distortion/static? Cuz did a bit of testing today and turning it up to 35 out of 62 total is about where my sound quality goes to shit. Just wondering if that's the hu or just where the speakers are good to.

Turn your volume up to 3/4s ish and set your gains on your amp accordingly so the sound is clear without clipping or distortion.

Oh wait this is on stock speakers? Replace them if you're wanting to go louder than 35/62 lol

More than likely the headunit clips around 3/4th volume if you want to get louder and stay clean get a 4 channel and some aftermarket speakers, just upgrading the door speakers isn't going to make any difference as you'll clip those too.

ok i looked at the speakers and its 4x6's in there, but ive seen alot of people just make a custom bracked and put 6.5's in there.
if i were to do that would that be quite more beneficial?
