Inherently, more resistance = less power.
If you have two speakers that are single voice coil 4 ohm speakers just hook them up pos to pos to pos and neg to neg to neg.
If it's a 2-channel amp then one channel for each speaker.
if it's a mono block (1 channel amp) then the pos from both speakers goes to pos on the amp and the neg from both speakers goes to neg on the amp.
so how much does 8 ohms cut the power?
lets make it simple....
2 100w subs in a series 4 ohms each making total resistance 8 ohms
200w amp
how many watts get thru the subs?
